Mary Peter Trust - Annual Fundraising Quiz Night The Mary Peters Trust annual fundraiser is happening again this year on Wednesday 8th February 2012, at 7.30pm, Newforge Country Club. Tickets are £10 each (tables of 6). If you would like tickets please contact Gillian Hetherington at the Mary Peter Trust.
NRT 2011/2012 - Event 4 - Information The fourth event of the new 2011/2012 season in association with Seismic Bowling takes place at Brunswick Moviebowl on Sunday 15th January, starting at 9.30am (Registration opens at 9.00am). This event will also be the start of the 2012 World Cup Qualifiers. The qualifiers format will be best 3 of 4 events, with the Top 8 Men and Top 4 Women making the Finals which will take place at the Jet Centre, Coleraine on 20th June. The entry fee for the World Cup Qualifier is £20.00. Format: 8 games qualifying, top 8 players (handicap total) will contest in the Knockout Finals (Matches played over 1 game). Guaranteed prize fund of £360.00 which is distributed to the Top 8 players as follows: 1st place: £100.00 Entry fee will be £32.00 for members or £35.00 for non-members. Handicap 75% of 220. Those players eligible for a current handicap can view their handicap for the event here.
Brian Voss Bowling Academy Seismic Bowling present, in association with Sivissidis Stars on Tour, the Brian Voss Bowling Academy featuring PBA Superstar and USBC Hall of Famer Brian Voss on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th January 2012 in the Dundonald International Ice Bowl. Scheduled sessions are: Sessions will feature: Cost: £35.00 per person for each 2 hour session. Limited places are available. Enquiries to Ryan Press or email. NRT 2011/2012 - Event 3 - Information The third event of the new 2011/2012 season in association with Seismic Bowling takes place at Odyssey Bowl in the Odyssey Pavilion, Belfast on Sunday 11th December, starting at 9.30am (Registration opens at 9.00am). Format: 8 games qualifying, top 8 players (handicap total) will contest in the Knockout Finals (Matches played over 1 game). New Northern Ireland Apparel The Northern Ireland Tenpin Bowling Federation present the all new Northern Ireland apparel. Shirts, priced at £25.00 each, are for Squad Members only. Hoodies will be available for open purchase and are priced at £40.00 each, note that the Hoodie only has the NITBF logo on the front with no Northern Ireland text on the reverse. Please contact your local council member for more details.
Selection information for upcoming international events in 2012 For players interested in qualifying to represent Team Northern Ireland at the upcoming European Men's Championships (Austria, August 2012) and European Women's Championships (Netherlands, June 2012) which are also the qualifying events to earn a spot at the joint World Championships in Las Vegas, Summer 2013...the top 6 males and top 6 females in the squad standings (Best 5 of the last 7 events) will be selected following the completion of Ranking Event 5 on 26th February 2012. To be eligible for selection you must be a Gold Card Member of the NITBF from the beginning of the 2011/2012 season. (Membership is due on 1st October, payment must be made previous to the commencement of Event 2) The Commonwealth Championships will now be held in New Zealand in February 2013, the selection date for this will be following the last event (7) of the 2011/2012 season.
Sport NI - Athlete Investment Programme Criteria The Athlete Investment Programme run by Sport NI is now open for applications. If you fall within any of the criteria outlined below you are eligible to apply for funding via this programme. The criteria form can also be downloaded from here.
