2007/2008 U24 & U19 Champions
11th May 2008

Following the final ranking event of the 2007/2008 the U24 & U19 Champions have been decided.

In the U24 section the new champion is Grant Dugan, who showed a complete dominance of the section this season taking 7 event wins from 8. Losing out on a perfect win record by only 16 pins in the second event of the season in which he finished 2nd.

The top 3 in the U24 section were:
1. Grant Dugan - 7 event wins - 346.55 points
2. David Seay - 2 event wins - 315.10 points
3. Zara Payne - 0 event wins - 242.28 points

In the U19 section the new champion is Zara Payne, who by only taking 1 event win showed consistant event results in order to claim the title. The U19 section was a much closer affair than that of the U24 section with the title up for grabs by no less than 4 players in the final event.

The top 3 in the U19 section were:
1. Zara Payne - 1 event win - 312.31 points
2. Kelly McDowell - 3 event wins - 304.65 points
3. Lauren Dugan - 3 event wins - 291.95 points

Other event winners in the U19 section were Scott Horton and Jonny Reid. Again the improving performances in this section have been highlighted in how close the standings were this year with only better things to come next season yet again!

Congratulations to all of the above!
